Control the battery charge status of the wall-mounted iPad
If the wall-mounted tablet is constantly charged, battery life may be significantly reduced. Use TapHome relay digital output to control power of original charging adapter, in order to keep battery level between 50-70%.
Configuration for Apple iPad
- In the TapHome API, define URL commands to control relay that switches the charging adapter
- Define automation in Apple Shortcuts, that calls TapHome API URL when iPad battery falls below 70%, or rises above 50%
