BEK5 Villanyszerelés
A sole-trader electrical contractor based in Kerepesi, operating since 2020, specialising in heating and cooling system control and building automation alongside traditional electrical installation work. The contractor holds a degree in electrical engineering and brings experience gained at Hungarian subsidiaries of German and Swiss multinational companies, working primarily on the increasingly complex electrical and automation requirements of family homes.
Service Areas
- Electrical installation — full execution for family homes in new-build and renovation projects, modernisation of ageing networks, fault diagnosis, and pre-construction design and consultancy.
- Heating and cooling control — design and installation of zone-controlled underfloor heating and ceiling cooling/heating connected to heat pump systems, with room-by-room temperature regulation and remote access; for surface cooling, condensation prevention is also part of the control solution.
- Building automation — design and installation of shading control, HVAC automation and lighting control, typically integrated alongside mechanical system automation.
- Alarm and camera systems — installation of alarm and camera systems in properties where electrical work is also carried out.
Professional Approach and References
Zone layout design takes into account Ministerial Decree 9/2023. (V. 25.) ÉKM, which requires rooms larger than 12 m² in houses over 100 m² to be treated as independent zones with weather-compensated control. Multiple thermostats are recommended for multi-storey homes, surface-cooled buildings, and properties serving several functions (bedroom, home office, wellness area, garage — each with different control requirements). Thermostat selection is based on reliability, usability (wall thermostat and mobile app), and the existing or planned mechanical system — heat pump type, circulation pumps, mixing valves and number of zones. Zone control solutions used include the Uponor Smatrix and Wavin Sentio systems.
Completed projects include a family home with 10 thermostats featuring ceiling cooling and underfloor heating, the heat centre automation of an 8-unit apartment building, and a manifold installation with thermoelectric actuators in a family home in Zugló. For new builds and full renovations, a professional wiring guide for wired automation systems has also been prepared for fellow electricians.
