Architechnik Kft.
Hungarian distributor of the TapHome building automation system, with a showroom office in Budapest on Mihálkovics Street. Control of heating, cooling, shading and lighting in one system, with device sales, English-language documentation and professional training.
What they solve with the system
- Heating and cooling control — zone-by-zone temperature regulation on a shared interface, weekly scheduling, energy-saving mode, weather-compensated control; the PID algorithm learns the energy demand of each room, and dew point calculation reduces condensation risk in ceiling cooling.
- Shading control — slat angle calculated from an external light sensor and sun position, wind protection, opening and closing at sunrise/sunset, shading groups and presence simulation.
- Lighting control — light scenes from a single button, reduced night-time brightness with motion sensor, all lights off with one button, compatible with switches from any manufacturer.
- Modbus integration — connect Modbus RTU and TCP devices to TapHome CORE without a separate gateway, with pre-configured profiles for devices such as Nilan CTS 602, Atrea, Komfovent C6, Domat and Fronius Symo inverter, plus custom expressions for reading and writing registers.
- Multi-CORE coordination — for larger, multi-storey projects (hotels, office buildings), devices are organised under a master CORE using the Exposed Devices feature.
Products and documentation
They sell control units and IO modules through their own web shop, and provide technical documentation in Hungarian for wiring, control, installation, user permissions and Modbus. They also prepare a cost comparison between conventional electrical installation and a TapHome-based setup for a typical 150 m² family home.
Training
In their online training, participants receive a programming task list and can work on a remotely accessible TapHome system for five days, followed by a 1.5-hour online system demonstration where solutions are discussed with a specialist. In-person, three-hour training takes place at the Budapest showroom, where working systems can also be tested.
Partner network
They maintain a network of preferred sales partners and contractors throughout the country, including in Budapest, Baja, Szolnok, Kecskemét, Miskolc, Pécs, Debrecen and Siófok.
